Collette Drayson - Purbeck Fleece Designs
Local fleece is spun into yarn and then knitted or woven to create individual designs for jumpers, booties, blankets, cushions and rugs. The natural colours of the fleece are used to create abstract or more intentional patterns. Small amounts of coloured wool may be added.
The materials used are low in cost but the items take time to create and are made with care and love and should be gently hand-washed in warm water.
